The Kongskilde KIA Industrial Aspirator is designed for cleaning and dedusting plastic regrind and reprocessed material, making it suitable for in-house recycling and materials recovery facilities. Available in three models—KIA 12, KIA 20, and KIA 60—this system effectively separates dust, label fragments, and other light impurities from granulated plastic and reprocessed material.
The Kongskilde KIA Aspirator System
The Kongskilde Industrial Aspirator (KIA) is designed to separate light impurities or dust from re-processed material or granulated plastic.
By integrating the KIA Industrial Aspirator into a production line, manufacturers can:

How it works
Principle of Function
1. Airflow Separation – Reprocessed material enters the aspirator, where an upward-moving air stream, generated by a high-performance blower mounted on the KIA, separates lighter impurities from the heavier plastic material.
2. Impurity Extraction – Lighter contaminants, such as dust and label fragments, are captured and conveyed through a pipe system into a cyclone or collection container. The valuable reprocessed material exits through the bottom of the aspirator.
3. Uniform Distribution – A rotating distributor fan in the lower section of the aspirator ensures even material distribution, maximizing cleaning efficiency.
4. Reprocessed Material Readiness – Once impurities are removed, the clean material is ready for immediate re-use in production.
