STS Static Separators
Static separator placed at the discharge end of a pneumatic system
The Kongskilde STS separator is designed for pneumatic conveying systems in the paper, plastic and packaging industries. The Kongskilde STS separator is placed at the discharge end of the conveying system, which could be a stationary compactor, baler or container.
With the STS separator only a minimal volume of air is discharged together with the conveyed material. The conveying air is blown out through the air outlet of the separator, either directly in the open air or into a filter, which will remove any dust from the conveying air.

Self-adjusting deflector plate
In order to ensure an even material flow through the separator and thereby obtain maximum capacity, a self-adjusting deflector plate is built into the STS separator. The deflector plate ensures that no unwanted turbulence will occur, which can influence the efficiency of material discharge. Unwanted turbulence is extremely important to avoid when discharging thin foils.
Transitions for filtration systems
Transitions are available for easy connection of pipe systems if filtration is required.
