Conveying Lines – Pipes
OK Pipes
The Kongskilde OK pipe systems (tube systems) are ideal for pneumatic and mechanical conveying
Kongskilde OK Pipe Systems provide durable, flexible pipework for conveying production materials by air. The modular range includes straight pipes, bends, branches, two-way diverters, cyclones, outlets, reducers, couplings, and flexible hoses.
Standard components make pipe systems faster to install, adapt, and maintain. Different pipe thicknesses and wear-resistant bends are available to match the conveyed material, operating conditions, and Kongskilde blower system.
How Kongskilde’s OK Pipe Systems Work
OK Pipe Systems can be used for pressure or vacuum conveying and connected to Kongskilde blowers, separators, and other equipment. Components can be combined to create an efficient pipe route around existing machinery and building layouts.
Straight pipes are available in lengths of up to 3 m, reducing the number of joints and installation time. Large-radius bends help maintain conveying capacity, reduce wear, and limit damage to the conveyed material.
The range also includes sealed two-way diverters for directing material under pressure or vacuum, as well as cyclones for separating the conveyed material from the airflow.
Flexible Connection Options
The durable coupling system is designed to withstand repeated assembly and disassembly. Quick-release clamps make it easy to replace worn components, adjust pipe routes, or add branches and outlets with minimal interruption.
This is particularly useful for mobile systems that require frequent reconfiguration. Bolt clamps and couplings are also available for permanent installations.
Pipe Options for Different Applications
Kongskilde offers standard, reinforced, and specialized pipe options for pneumatic conveying, extraction, and ventilation applications.
Standard straight pipes are manufactured from galvanized sheet steel. Depending on the pipe type and application, bends and specialized components may be painted or galvanized.
- OK 100: Standard 100 mm pipe system with straight pipes made from 0.75 mm galvanized sheet steel. Designed for pneumatic conveying, extraction, and ventilation.
- OK 160: Standard 160 mm pipe system with straight pipes made from 0.9 mm galvanized sheet steel. Bends have a 1.0 mm inner section and a 1.5 mm outer section on the wear-exposed side.
- OK 200: Standard 200 mm pipe system with straight pipes made from 0.9 mm galvanized sheet steel. Suitable for higher-capacity pneumatic conveying, extraction, and ventilation.
- OKR : Reinforced 160 mm pipe system with straight pipes made from 1.25 mm galvanized sheet steel. Bends have a 1.0 mm inner section and a 2.5 mm outer section for applications with increased wear.
- OKX 160 bends: Hardened, wear-resistant bends that provide up to three times greater abrasion resistance. They match the dimensions of standard OK 160 bends and have a galvanized surface suitable for outdoor installation.
- OKD 160 and OKD 200: Extra-reinforced pipes and components developed for gravity-flow and downpipe systems.
- Sound-insulated pipes: Steel pipes with added insulation that dampens vibration and reduces noise caused by conveyed material striking the pipework.
- Transparent butyrate pipes: Allow operators to visually monitor material flow and identify potential blockages.
- Flexible hoses: Polyurethane and steel hoses allow suction points to be moved without dismantling the pipeline.
- Multiple pipe lengths: Straight pipes are available in several lengths up to 3 m, depending on the pipe diameter. Shorter and telescopic sections support precise installation, while longer pipes reduce the number of joints and installation time.
The range also includes reducers and transitions, for connecting different pipe diameters; sealed two-way diverters for directing material under pressure or vacuum; and cyclones for separating the conveyed material from the conveying air. Branches, outlets, pipe supports, telescopic pipes, and other standard components are also available for building a complete system.
Soundproof Piping
For noise-sensitive production environments, OK 160 pipes and bends are available with sound insulation. Bitumen and heat-shrink layers increase surface mass and dampen vibration caused by granules, pellets, finished parts, and recycled materials striking the steel pipework.
This can reduce noise by approximately 5 to 12 dB, helping create a quieter and more comfortable working environment.

Benefits of Kongskilde OK Pipe Systems
