Conveying Lines – Pipes
OK Pipes
The Kongskilde OK pipe systems (tube systems) are ideal for pneumatic and mechanical conveying
Kongskilde’s OK Pipe Systems are designed to provide superior pneumatic and mechanical conveying solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Our modular pipe systems offer unparalleled flexibility and can be customized to fit any specific installation or operational need. Their simple, adaptable design allows for shorter conveying distances, resulting in more efficient, economical material handling across a wide range of industries.
How Kongskilde’s OK Pipe Systems Work
The OK Pipe Systems utilize a simple yet highly flexible design, allowing for easy adjustments and configurations to optimize conveying distances. This modularity ensures quick installation and adaptation to various industrial environments, providing an efficient setup for material transport.
The OK pipe system’s modular design comprises pipes, bends, branches, diverters, cyclones, outlets, etc. The components are assembled quickly and easily using the unique OK quick release couplings. The wide range of OK piping and accessories ensures flexibility and ease of installation in existing buildings. The OK pipe system is available in three different diameters: 100, 160 and 200mm.
Soundproof Piping
For noise-sensitive environments, OK 160 pipes are available with sound insulation. The pipes are wrapped in a 2mm thick self-adhesive bitumen layer with a weight of 3.5 kg/m². Either one or two layers can be applied to achieve the desired level of sound reduction.
The insulation is especially effective when conveying materials that produce high-impact noise upon contact with steel surfaces, such as plastic granulate, pellets, finished components, or recycled materials. Bitumen enhances acoustic performance by increasing surface mass and dampening vibrations, helping reduce sound levels by approximately 5 to 12 dB.
Robust Construction
The sturdily constructed OK pipe system is made from galvanized sheet steel. The rolled pipe ends serve as reinforcements, maintaining the circular shape and ensuring tight joints.
Three Pipe Diameters
The OK pipe system is available in three different diameters: OK 100 (100 mm), OK 160 (160 mm) and OK 200 (200 mm). The dimensions refer to the outside pipe diameters.
Wall Thickness
Choice of wall thickness depends largely on the wear to which the pipe system will be exposed. The wide range of pipes is therefore available in different thicknesses – OK standard, OKR reinforced, and OKD extra reinforced (for gravity flow).
