Grain Cleaners – KDC
The Kongskilde KDC and KDC PLUS grain cleaners are designed for high-efficiency pre-cleaning and grading of various crops.
The KDC 5000 is a dual-screen drum cleaner that efficiently sorts grain by size. The inner screen serves as a scalper to remove large particles, while the full outer screen area removes smaller fines to ensure clean, high-quality grain. The KDC 5000 is also compatible with Kongskilde KF and FRL aspirators, giving customers the option to enhance their cleaning system in the future.
The KDC 4000 and 8000 PLUS are advanced grain cleaners with a dual cleaning function that utilizes both screen and aspirator technology. The screens sort the grain by means of size, and the aspirator unit removes light impurities and dust by means of air for exceptional cleaning capability. With its built-in vacuum system, the KDC PLUS achieves 100% aspiration, efficiently conveying screenings up to 15 meters (50 feet). The adjustable capacity ensures optimal performance for different crops and conditions.

It separates grain by size using an inner scalping screen and a full outer screen to remove both large particles and fine impurities. Designed for operations that don’t require built-in air separation, the KDC 5000 offers durable, high-capacity performance with easy screen changes and versatile crop compatibility. The KDC offers a pre-cleaning capacity of up to 50 t/h (1750 bu/h).
The KDC 4000 and 8000 PLUS grain cleaners combines the power of screen and aspiration cleaning technologies to deliver unmatched cleaning performance. The screen system separates grain based on size, while the aspirator unit uses airflow to remove light impurities, dust, and fines for superior cleaning results. This dual cleaning approach maximizes the value and quality of your crop. Available in two models, the KDC PLUS 4000 offers a pre-cleaning capacity of up to 40 t/h (1,400 bu/h), while the KDC PLUS 8000 doubles that capacity to 80 t/h (2,800 bu/h).
All KDC Models offer easy access to the screens via hinged doors, enabling fast screen replacement and visual inspections from either side. The inner screen functions as a scalper, removing larger particles, while the outer screen focuses on removing smaller fines.
