Loading systems for on-floor storages

Kongskilde offers solutions based on a conveyor placed at the bottom of a pit to convey the grain horizontally to the intake of a bucket elevator. This reduces the depth of the pit for a certain volume of grain.

The bucket elevator conveys the grain vertically to the inlet of a belt conveyor. The belt conveyor in turn transports the grain horizontally across the length of the on-floor storage. A movable discharge section allows for discharge of the grain into the storage along the side of the belt conveyor, which means the grain is discharged in a line in the whole length of the storage.

If a complete even filling of the storage is required, a second cross belt conveyor must be included. The cross belt conveyor is installed on rails in such a way that it can be moved over the complete storage area to discharge grain to be evenly distributed in the storage area.
