How DTA Trough Augers Work
DTA trough augers operate by using a screw shaft mounted within a closed trough. As the shaft rotates, it moves material along the trough from one end to the other, effectively conveying materials horizontally or at slight inclinations. This simple mechanism allows for continuous material flow, which can be easily directed through multiple inlets and outlets as needed. The design also includes intermediate bearings that enable the auger to run smoothly, even without material, minimizing wear and tear.
