Filling and Emptying System for Hopper Silos
With this pneumatic solution, more hopper silos can be emptied by the use of only one blower. Under each silo, a rotary valve is placed to feed the material into the pressurized conveying line. A blower is used to create the air flow to carry the grain through the pipe system. The whole system can be served by having the blower in one position, connected to the different conveying lines through diverters.
If a tractor-driven blower is used, which reduces the demand for power supply, it can be moved to different positions and connected directly to the rotary valves under each silo.
Based on using the same blower, a solution for filling the siloes or circulating the grain between siloes is easy to establish.
