R&D Specialist – Air Technology & CFD

About the position

You will be part of a central R&D function at the head office in Sorø, where development and production are closely integrated. Here you will work with skilled colleagues on the entire development process – from early concepts to finished products and continuous improvements.

Your role will have a key dimension in relation to strengthening the company’s competencies in air technology through analyses, measurements and simulations. You will act as a specialist and contribute to both technology choices, methods and Best Practice across the organization.

Your primary responsibilities

You will have a versatile role with both depth and breadth, where you will, among other things:

  • Develop and optimize products with a focus on air technical performance (flow, pressure, efficiency, noise, etc.)
  • Carry out CFD analyses and simulations as a basis for decision-making in development projects
  • Work with measurement, testing and validation of technical solutions
  • Contribute to product maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
  • Provide technical sparring to colleagues and partners globally
  • Participate in cross-functional development projects
  • Build and share knowledge, methods and best practice in the organization

The role spans across the entire value chain in R&D and involves close collaboration with production, procurement and other key functions.

What are we looking for?

We imagine that you have a technical background and experience in several of the following areas:

  • Solid experience with CFD and technical calculations
  • Insight into air technology and aerodynamic conditions
  • Experience with testing, measurements and data-driven product development
  • Ability to translate analyses into concrete improvements in products
  • A structured and systematic approach to development work
  • Good collaboration skills and a desire to share your knowledge

It is an advantage if you are motivated by working in a role where you are both a specialist and at the same time have the potential to take greater responsibility in the long term – also in the direction of management.
