You will be part of our central R&D department in Sorø, where product development, production and testing are gathered under the same roof. Here you will have a key role in the development of the next generation of machines and equipment for our global markets. You will work closely with colleagues in mechanical design, production, project management and external partners in automation, electronics and software.

The job
As a Mechanical Design Engineer – Mechatronics & Product Development, your primary focus will be to develop and integrate complete technical solutions where mechanics, sensors, actuators and control components work together in robust and reliable products
You will be involved in the entire development process – from idea and concept development to testing, validation, industrialization and continuous product improvements.
Your primary tasks
Among other things, you will work with:
- Designing and developing new products and product improvements
- Integration of mechanical, electrical and control components
- Development of solutions with sensors, actuators and automation-related components
- Participation in concept development, prototype processes and test activities
- Collaboration with internal and external specialists in automation, electronics and software
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation in SolidWorks, PDM and ERP systems
- Ensuring high quality in product data, construction and documentation
Who are you?
We imagine that you have experience in the development of technical products, machines or mechatronic systems and thrive in the interface between several technical disciplines.
For example, you may have a background such as:
- Mechanical Design Engineer
- R&D Engineer
- Mechatronics Engineer
- Mechanical Project Engineer
- Development Engineer in machinery, automation or special equipment
In addition, we would like you to:
- Has experience with mechanical design in SolidWorks
- Has an understanding of the integration of electronics, sensors and actuators
- Has an interest in automation and control technical solutions
- Thrive on product development and technical challenges
- Work in a structured way and translate ideas into practical solutions
- Fluent in Danish and English in writing and speech
