Business Analyst

Are you passionate about turning data into commercial impact? Then this newly established role might be your next career move. Kongskilde Industries is expanding our business intelligence capabilities, and we are looking for a commercially oriented Business Analyst to enhance transparency, performance insights, and data‑driven decision making across our global manufacturing business. The position is also well suited for an ambitious student currently finishing a bachelor’s degree or in the beginning of a master’s degree, who is eager to apply analytical skills in a real business context and grow into the role.

About the role

You will work closely with operational teams and executive management across the Lead-to-invoice process. As a trusted partner to leaders and teams, you will deliver clear, actionable insights that help shape our commercial strategy. You will thrive in a manufacturing environment where data maturity varies and where you help bridge commercial ambitions with operational reality. We offer:

  • A key role in shaping commercial excellence and BI capabilities.
  • High exposure to leadership and strategic decision-making.
  • A dynamic environment where insights lead to real impact.
  • Competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Possibility for remote work setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and report on commercial performance across the Lead‑to‑Invoice process, including pipeline, revenue, margins, conversion rates, and funnel velocity.
  • Deliver multi‑dimensional insights to support commercial strategy and execution.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to stakeholders, translating data into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Develop and refine commercial KPIs, dashboards, and analytical frameworks.
  • Analyse lead generation, campaign performance, and marketing ROI in close collaboration with Marketing.
  • Ensure reliable reporting, strong data quality, and continuous improvements to CRM, ERP, and reporting processes.
  • Contribute to future analytics development across the value chain, including Order‑to‑Cash and operational performance metrics, and support BI system initiatives.

About you

You could come from several paths: You may already have experience in a commercial analytics role with experience in B2B, manufacturing, or industrial environments, – but you could also be an ambitious student currently finishing your bachelor’s degree/in the beginning of your master’s degree. Most important, you are curious, structured, and motivated by turning data into real business impact.

Required / On track to acquire:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Business Engineering Analytics, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, ideally with 3+ years of experience in an analytical role, or demonstrated through projects, student jobs, or internships.
  • Proficiency with data tools (spreadsheets, BI platforms, databases) and ability to translate data into actionable insights for all levels.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills including full Danish and English working proficiency.

Personal skills:

  • Commercially curious and eager to understand performance drivers.
  • Skilled in creating structure – even when data is imperfect.
  • Comfortable working in an international SME environment.
  • Strong business partner mindset with the ability to influence decisions, combined with a proactive, selfdriven approach and the courage to challenge constructively.
