Area Sales Manager – Nordics

About the position

As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and driving sales of pneumatic conveying solutions and components to industrial customers in the Nordic region.

You will work with:

  • Dealers and agents
  • Industrial End Customers (B2B)

And you will be responsible for the entire sales process – from outreach dialogue to finished project.

You will be part of a European sales team where collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint success are crucial, while at the same time you have great responsibility for your own customers and projects.

Your primary responsibilities

  • Drive outreach sales and build a strong pipeline of new projects
  • Identify and develop new customer relationships as well as maintain existing ones
  • Sell both components and projects to industrial customers
  • Build and develop networks with agents, dealers and end customers
  • Carry out customer meetings, needs identification and technical advice, where you establish relationships, prepare offers and negotiate agreements
  • Follow projects from initial dialogue to implementation in close collaboration with the Back Office and project team
  • Represent Kongskilde at trade fairs as well as in networks and industry organizations

Your profile

We are looking for a sales profile with strong drive and the ability to succeed in a market with long decision-making processes and complex solutions.

You:

  • Have experience with outreach B2B sales – preferably technical project sales
  • Thrive in an outreach sales role, where you are motivated by creating results based on long-term relationships
  • Work in a structured, disciplined and persistent way with your sales
  • Are robust and independent, and take ownership of your projects
  • At the same time, is a team player who contributes to joint success
  • Have a good technical understanding and can quickly familiarize yourself with the customers’ processes

It is an advantage – but not a requirement – if you have knowledge of the plastic, paper, packaging, label or recycling industry.

Working method and everyday life

  • An independent sales role with freedom with responsibility

  • Long-term sales processes with high complexity
  • 80–100 travel days annually in the Nordic region, which you plan yourself
