Managing Director and Sales Director at Kongskilde Industries in Poland, Roman Aftowicz, won the nationwide award of the “Golden” Engineer of the Year in the “Management” category.
The competition was organised by the Supreme Technical Organization “NOT”, which encompasses the Associations of Engineers. The candidates in various categories were presented in the oldest technical magazine in the world, the 153-year-old “Przegląd Techniczny” monthly.
Roman started his career as a young engineer making drawings, calculations, and other technical tasks. He then moved into sales, and progressed as manager, and is today Managing Director of Kongskilde Industries Poland. As manager, Roman has been a pivotal part of implementing successful growth strategies.
As receiver of this award last year and to celebrate the 25th anniversary of this competition, Roman Aftowicz was invited to the presidential palace on 27 February 2019 where he had the opportunity to meet the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.
